Use & Care
USE & CARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR COOKWARE PANS
- Ceramic nonstick performs best with a light coating of butter or cooking oil. Food will brown and crisp, and cleanup becomes simpler.
- We recommend silicone, nylon and wooden utensils for use with this pan to protect the nonstick surface. Metal utensils can damage the nonstick.
- Use moderate heat to obtain the most effective heating properties. Excessive heat is damaging to the pan and stove top.
- Never allow cookware to boil dry or leave an empty pan on a hot burner unattended. Pan is for stove top use only.
- Cardamom’s natural wood handles add to its beauty and uniqueness, and require a little extra care. For gas ranges, ensure a low to medium heat setting is used, as excessive heat will damage wooden handles. Flame should never be visible up the sides of the pan.
- Hand wash with warm soapy water and a soft cloth or brush that’s safe for nonstick.
- Abrasive pads and cleaners should not be used on nonstick surfaces as they will diminish the nonstick coating.
- Refrain from soaking or immersing wooden handle of pan in water. Clean handle by wiping with a damp dish rag if needed.
- This pan is not dishwasher safe due to its wooden handle which will absorb water and cause cracking or splitting.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR LIDS
- Hand wash only; do not soak.
- To clean wooden knob, use a soft damp cloth.
- Be cautious of hot steam when lifting the lid.
USE & CARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR BAKEWARE PANS

- Hand wash with warm soapy water and a soft cloth or brush that is safe for nonstick coating.
- Abrasive pads and cleaners should not be used on nonstick surfaces as they will diminish the nonstick release.
- Extended soaking is not recommended or necessary; for stubborn baked-on food, soak in hot soapy water for 15 minutes, then rinse.
- Ceramic nonstick performs best with a light coating of butter or cooking oil. Food will brown and crisp and clean up becomes simpler.
- If baking brownies or a sheet cake, we recommend buttering & flouring the pan as you would do with any other recipe.
- We recommend silicone, nylon, and wooden utensils for use with this pan to protect the nonstick surface. Metal utensils can damage the nonstick coating.
