Use & Care
- Using a pastry brush, spread softened butter or shortening in a thin layer across interior surface of pan, including the cone and every design detail. Dust with flour (or cocoa powder for chocolate cakes), then invert pan over a sink and give a light tap to remove excess.
- You may also use spray made specifically for baking, which will have flour listed as an ingredient. Do not use regular cooking spray.
- Fill pan no more than ¾ full to avoid overflow.
- Tap batter-filled pan firmly several times on a cutting board or kitchen counter protected with a towel to ensure batter is evenly distributed in the pan’s design
- After baking, allow cake to cool in the pan 2-3 minutes for bite-sized cakelets, or 5-7 minutes for a full-sized Bundt®, before inverting onto a cooling rack. Allowing a cake to fully cool in the pan can contribute to a stuck cake and is not recommended.
- Our Bundt® Finishing Tool set is helpful with extraction, decorating and slicing your
Bundt® cake. - Hand wash recommended to preserve the release properties of the nonstick coating.
- To remove baked-on cake bits, soak pan in hot soapy water for 15 minutes. Extended soaking not recommended.
- For easy cleaning, we recommend our Bundt® Cleaning Tool, safe for use on nonstick pans.
- Metal utensils, scouring pads and abrasive cleaners should be avoided on your Bundt® pan.
